Standard 3.3: Instructional Development Services
The service of professional instructional development personnel should be used when available. At a minimum, equipment and supplies should be available for duplication or copying printed materials and transparencies. Instructional development personnel should conduct in-service and/or training in curriculum and media development.
Requirements:
- Rate the use of specialists to provide media development services for instructional staff.
- Rate the availability of equipment and supplies for faculty use in duplicating materials and producing overhead transparency materials, etc.
Recommended Documentation:
- Statement explaining how instructional materials are reproduced for classroom use. Document how assistance is provided, if available, and which personnel perform the task of photocopying materials for your program.
- Statement explaining what supplies and equipment are available for faculty use and location.
- Statement explaining technology instruction and training offered by media services specialists.
