Standard 8.1: Training Stations
Training stations (bench and on-vehicle service and repair work) should be available in the type and number required for the performance of tasks outlined in the program goals and performance objectives.
Requirements:
- Rate the training stations available in the type and number required for task performance as outlined in the program goals and performance objectives in terms of:
1. adequate bench space
2. adequate lab/shop space
Recommended Documentation:
- The evaluation team will inspect the shop/laboratory for compliance. It will assess the number of training stations relative to class size and the specialty area involved.
- Map identifying training stations to faciliate on-site inspection.
- Statement describing available bench and lab/shop space.
