Standard 8.10: First Aid
A first aid kit should be in place and should comply with local regulations and school policy.
Requirements:
- Rate the availability of a first aid kit for the program. (May be N/A)
- Rate the first aid kit in terms of being clearly identified. (May by N/A)
- Rate the first aid kit in terms of being equipped with basic, up-to-date first aid supplies. (May be N/A)
Recommended Documentation:
- Statement describing the location of the first aid kit(s) and identifying the process for ensuring they are equipped and up-to-date.
- Statement regarding the school's policies or other provisions for providing first aid to an injured student.
